Did you know that only a very small percentage of professional business owners have published a book? Strategic Self-Publishing helps thought leaders and subject matter experts leverage their expertise through self-publishing. New technologies have made it possible to quickly and cost effectively produce professional publications that can be distributed through multiple channels. In the past, self-publishing was considered “vanity” publishing, but that is no longer true. Today self-published books are available in bookstores, libraries and online distribution centers.

We help businesses better understand this process and how to develop strategies that enable them to leverage their books and enhance their businesses. We have developed materials to provide businesses with some hands-on knowledge and industry expertise so that they are better prepared for the journey.  We offer assistance on all of the aspects of self-publishing: graphics/layout, project collaboration, printing, branding, marketing/pr, and social media to help produce a professional looking book that will become one of the best marketing tools a company has to offer.

We help clients develop a strategic plan for their self-publishing projects and then help them implement it.

Our History

After self publishing her first book, Marna realized some of her mistakes and began to navigate the process of self publishing and how it could be done more efficiently. After publishing two more books, she learned how to quickly produce books and make them available online as well as having them available to use as “business cards”.  She began to use her books as business cards. After a successful conference on Strategic Self Publishing, Marna has created a package that can be purchased by anyone to help them learn how to apply the lessons Marna has learned.

Marna FriedmanMarna Friedman, Business Strategist and Publishing Coach … has been helping individuals and businesses improve their productivity her entire professional career. She has implemented numerous systems throughout several industries that have resulted in better efficiency and profitability. After years of working for non-profits and other self-employed businesses, Marna is skilled at helping you navigate through the self publishing process and improving your business. Currently a Business Strategist, she offers consulting services to businesses including training, professional organizing, event planning, publishing and more. These experiences led to the development of a series of books on how to get started in your own small business, titled “The Small Business That Could™” and “The Small Business That Could™ For Women”. Her books offer insightful websites, tips, resources and products to help businesses. She holds a BS in Business Administration and an MA in Media Studies/Communications. She is listed in Who’s Who of American Women and Who’s Who Among Emerging Leaders in America.
